Completion date drives cash flow, not just move-in. A new launch is paid for on the progressive payment schedule, so a longer build is a longer runway on your own money — and a shorter one brings the balance forward. If you are selling an existing home to fund this, the sequence of the two dates is the whole problem.
Sequencing a sale against a 2029 completion
